Global ONE Group
Background and History
GOG (now Global ONE Group) originates in Toronto, Canada, in 2009. During that time, national and international dental practices were faced with a crisis that impeded what would later become strong growth in 2010 (14.7% and the 5th most profitable enterprise in America by Forbes Magazine).
The United States was just coming out of a profound recession where private practice fell 3.07%. Where Mexico registered 254,784 students graduated from Dentistry majors (INEGI 2011), in reality only 48.6% of these actually worked in the profession, mostly due to lack of patients and economic incentives.
It was not until 2011, in Santiago de Chile, where founder Christian Reyna D.D. S. finalized his Master’s in NLP™ in Dentistry and his Specialty in Hypnodoncy, that GOG took upon the responsibility of imparting dental education with NLP. In one of its first actions, GOG entered the select groups that are The Society of NLP (USA) and the International Consortium on NLP (Chile), carrying out all necessary processes to receive recognition as a proper educator of Neuro-Linguistic Dentistry (ONE).
By then, the National Commission on Medical Overseeing (CONAMED Vol. 8 ) registered a high number of complaints (48%) due to a deficiency in the communication between the dentistry professional and the patient.
In a perfectly defined setting and with a clear idea on its solution, the field of Dentistry needed the aid of devoted professionals. This was how, near the end of 2011, and with the unconditional support of an international team composed by professionals from countries such as Japan, Mexico, Canada, Chile and Colombia, we guaranteed the best NLP preparation for our students, focusing primarily on what nowadays is recognized as the study of Neuro-Linguistic Dentistry (ONE).
This was how, proudly from Monterrey, we established our programs with Monterrey, Nuevo León as the spearhead. Global ONE Group was officially created on Monday, the 10th of October 2011.
